Paintings made at Hotel Experimenta, an art residency set in the wild countryside where I have met young backtothelanders, free spirits, artists of all kinds whom I took as new models for my work. For my first stay, I drew my inspiration from two novels : Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, and The Invention of Morel, by Adolfo Bioy Casares.
The second time I went, I pursued a research about portrait. I made my own Colette’s motto : “The human face has been my only landscape.” Here I show the last part of this research. Message me if you want to see more.
